2nd International Conference on Education Research (ICER 2025)

This is the Final call for papers for the 2nd International Conference on Education Research (ICER 2025). The conference will be hosted by ISCTE-IUL University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal on 6 – 7 November 2025.

This call is open until the 16 April 2025.

ICER 2025 seeks to be a leading outlet for education research and aims to bring together a diverse range of thinkers on the topic. We believe that research should be used to inform and guide teaching and learning practices in higher education. This conference is an opportunity for participants to learn from each other and to develop new strategies for optimizing the student learning experience. We welcome everyone researching in this area to present their work to the scientific community.

The conference committee welcomes contributions using a range of scholarly approaches including theoretical and empirical papers employing qualitative, quantitative and critical methods. Action research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are also welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited.

Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. Papers that have been presented at the conference will also be considered for further development and publication in the Electronic Journal of e-Learning an open access journal indexed by Scopus.
