Two-subject teacher

My story is the tale of a 'promised loaf of bread'—in other words, the story of an enthusiastic mathematician who had neither the knowledge nor the love for physics. I wanted to study mathematics and work with young people; alongside that, I chose physics as a 'necessary evil,' convinced that I would only deal with it at university and nothing further. I found studying at PEF more appealing than at FMF because the range of subjects was broader, and the information on the programme’s demands drew me to Bežigrad rather than Vič. In four years, in addition to mathematics, I learned a great deal of physics, and I also acquired extensive knowledge in the fields of pedagogy and andragogy, which later proved very useful. I knew that my decision to work with young people was the right one just minutes later when, during my third year, I stepped in front of a class of 13-year-olds at Toneta Čufarja Elementary School by myself for the first time and introduced them to the concept of force pressure
