We are delighted to invite you to ERIDOB2026, the 15th Conference of European Researchers in Didactics of Biology, which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from August 24–28, 2026. The conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana.
The aim of ERIDOB is to bring together researchers in biology education from around the world to share and discuss their studies and findings. The association was founded in 1986 by Pierre Clément and Horst Bayrhuber, and since then a conference has been held every two years. It is a great honor for us to host the most important European conference on biology education.
At a time when science is both expected to address the great challenges of our era and, paradoxically, is often met with skepticism, the theme of ERIDOB2026 will be:
“Biology education paving the way for our common future.”
We are confident that this will be an excellent opportunity for in-depth discussions with fellow scholars in the field of biology education. We warmly invite you to participate actively.
