The Library provides access to a wide range of e-resources in education and the social sciences. Some are open access, while others are subscription based and the usage restricted to the University of Ljubljana students and its staff.

You can access Slovenian and foreign e-journals and other electronic resources either from library computers or remotely. For remote access use your student card or library card number and assigned password.

PeFprints is an online repository of the Faculty of Education. PeFprints serves to manage, preserve and make available the academic works of the faculty and graduate students.

PeFprints Gallery is a unique online gallery of the Arts Pedagogy Department featuring the art works of its professors and students.

A web portal that provides access to digitised collections of the National and University Library (NUK), including current and historical newspapers, photographs, books, manuscripts, maps and music. Most of the material is available remotely through open access.

How to connect to e-resources remotely

When you click on any link to access restricted database or other electronic resource (e.g. DiKUL, Mrežnik), a login page will open.

To access you need to:

  • select “Faculty of Education”,
  • enter your registration number (students) or your membership number (employees),
  • enter your password (if you don’t have a password, please come to the Library).

Once authenticated, you will be automatically transferred to the resource you selected.

Remote access is permitted under terms and conditions of licencing agreements with publishers.
