The library located at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana has evolved from the library of the Higher Pedagogical School, which was established in 1947.
In 1990, the library gained the status of a higher education library. It offers a rich selection of domestic and foreign professional literature, particularly in the fields of pedagogy and other sciences relevant to the study programmes and curriculum of the faculty.
The library primarily serves students and employees at the faculty, as well as other users.
A special feature of the library is the open access to most of its collection. The library offers 80 reading spaces for users. Special attention is given to access to electronic publications and open science.
