Our work is rooted in both practical needs and cutting-edge research in chemistry education, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation through national and international engagement.

The activities of the KemikUm Centre are based on fostering collaboration between universities, schools, and companies, with the aim of jointly developing innovations, applying them in chemistry education, and optimizing them through the evaluation of implemented activities. Through this approach, the centre strives to contribute to:

  • The transfer and effective use of research and development findings in educational practice;
  • The improvement of teaching and learning quality in chemistry, aligned with the needs of schools, the local community, and companies working in the field of natural sciences;
  • The promotion of interest among young people in chemistry and the natural sciences;
  • Raising awareness about the role of chemistry and science in society, and the importance of sustainable development.
