We proudly invite you to the 16th International Faculty Exchange Program (IFEP) at Chandigarh University, scheduled from January 12 to April 10, 2026 (with flexible time slots available based on faculty availability). The IFEP is a prestigious opportunity for you to foster intellectual exchange, contribute to transnational academic discourse, and experience India’s vibrant cultural and historical heritage. This will be a deeply enriching professional and personal experience.

 IFEP Process Overview

• Application & Preliminary Shortlisting: Applications from faculty worldwide are reviewed for academic credentials and program alignment. Candidates are shortlisted based on expertise and quality.
• Academic Evaluation & Approval: The Pro Vice-Chancellor’s office conducts a detailed assessment of shortlisted applicants, reviewing professional and research qualifications. Only the most suitable candidates receive final academic approval.
• Finalization of Session Topics: Approved faculty collaborate with us to finalize the specific topics and content for their sessions to ensure curricular relevance.
• Issuance of Invitation Letter: Once the session schedule is confirmed, an official invitation letter is sent by Chandigarh University to formalize the engagement.
• Program Execution & Engagement: Visiting professors arrive at the university to deliver their sessions and actively engage with the student body.

As a Visiting Faculty of the Chandigarh University, one can engage in multiple assignments from among the following:

• Teaching Core/Elective subjects,
• Co-supervising undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral (Ph.D.) students,
• Joint Research Publications
• Participating in externally funded projects as Co-Principal Investigator,
• Writing joint project proposals for International funding,
• Interacting/mentoring Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and Doctoral students.

However, Chandigarh University shall not provide any remuneration for this program. This program applies to Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors with strong academic and research credentials supported by publications in reputed conferences and journals.

You are requested to nominate the names of Academicians (Including your good self) / your colleagues/faculty (Experts) in any of the common areas of both universities (list attached), who is interested to be part of this program as a resource person.
